Elizabeth Day, Ph.D. is particularly passionate about working with teachers (K-12, higher education, healing arts, and coaches) and enabling them to lead and teach with a more powerful presence. Presence might be described as having achieved the capacity to “be” your purpose with such clarity that you can almost attract investment from others by what you say and do. The power of personal presence remains the untapped power in effective teaching, leading and learning. Both effective teaching and effective leadership demand a quiet strength that can only be achieved when individuals reconnect with their core values, make their invisible passions, visible and awaken their sense of purpose. Through conversation, experiential exercises, and bodywork we reclaim our most authentic selves. We work through counterproductive narratives, moods and actions for the sake of increased joy, love, and connection. We help the body and mind release negative patterns and create space for healing positive energy. Elizabeth is a certified Somatic Coach and faculty member at Santa Clara University in the Graduate School of Education. http://www.scu.edu/ecppm/education/faculty/eday.cfm Contact: brinkman417@mac.com or 408-309-3354
